Work continues on DT Register... and ALL users, regardless of the series of Joomla you are using, need to pay full attention to this announcement! We've updated both the Joomla 3 and 2.5 packages to version 3.1.3 and 2.8.15, but we've also went back in time a bit and updated the Joomla 1.5 package to version 2.7.26. This is to incorporate some VERY important changes to Authorize.net as well as some PayPal integration changes that will benefit your bottom line! Of course, some other fixes are thrown into the mix as well (for 2.5 and 3.x).

AUTHORIZE.NET CHANGES - EVERYONE WILL NEED THE UPDATE!

Authorize.net has announced changes that impact their payment gateways. If you use Authorize.net, you WILL NEED TO UPDATE your DT Register and/or your DT Donate installations. The changes that were announced will go into production very soon and we recommend avoiding issues where your payments won't be processed unless you update your DTH applications with these changes. We recognized that there were many customers impacted and we have retrofitted the changes into all versions of DT Register including those versions running on Joomla 1.5, 2.5 and 3.x. If you are behind on your Joomla installation, at least please update your system to our latest release so your transactions will continue to be processed. Note that the DT Donate package is not updated yet with these changes, but will be in the coming weeks.

DTH DEVELOPMENT AND PAYPAL PARTNERSHIP

DTH Development and PayPal have entered into a partnership that will benefit every DTH customer! Under this partnership, you have the option to have an integrated payment gateway that supports both credit cards and PayPal transactions. This partnership also allows DTH customers to fall into a group discount that is identified by a BN code in the payment transaction. PayPal is offering DTH customers introductory transaction rates of 2.2% plus 30 cents per transaction and waiving monthly fees (normally $30 per month).

If you haven't updated your support subscription now is a great time to do so.  The savings from the discounted rates and eliminated monthly fees will pay for itself in months and you will have the added benefit of consolidated payment transactions through one provider should you choose to do that. Because of this significant discount and also the fact that we retrofitted the Authorize.net changes into all versions of DTH products, we have also changed our PayPal gateways in DT Register for Joomla 1.5, 2.5 and 3.x to pass the group discount code to PayPal so everyone can benefit.

Besides these important items, we've also applied some other fixes. Here is what else we have done for you...

UPDATES & FIXES IN BOTH JOOMLA 3.x and JOOMLA 2.5 Versions: 

• Frontend event management was missing the recent overhaul changes for member discounts as well as tax exempt options.
• Fixed issue where frontend record editing was not saving properly.
• Removed Google Checkout as a payment gateway option as it hasn't been an actual solution for a while.

UPDATES & FIXES IN THE JOOMLA 3.x Version ONLY:  

• Fixed issue where removing Pay Later options caused the overall Pay Option to be unable to save.
• Fixed issue with JEvents Sync. This includes an update to the component AND our JEvent Update plugin.

Glad you asked... Login to our site, go to My Orders. Next to your order details you will see a Download link. This link always pulls the latest package that is available. You have access to this link for one year from purchase. If your order is no longer active, you would need to make a new purchase to get any further updates. After downloading the update, be sure to follow the upgrade instructions in the readme file.
