TOPIC: Empty and Missing Registration Records

Checking registration for upcoming event this morning and i noticed that one of them had no information associated with it, but showed that they paid. So when i look at DT Reg in the backend i see 1 successful registration with all information completed, the empty registration, and another successful registration with all information completed. So looks like it worked, then didn\'t work, then worked again.

Also, i received notifications from DT Register and PayPal that a new user had registered for my event. Unlike before with the empty record where i got an email with no information except that the registrant had paid the $200.00, i got a full email with all of the information in custom fields and everything. Got receipt from paypal too so I was like cool its working again. Well i log into the admin console and the record is not there? I export CSV and the record is not there, but the empty one that I manually updated is there with all the right info. So i shoot off to my database and to my astonishment, there is the missing record with all of the correct fields.

Also, there are no failed registration attempts either.

Configuration is as follows:

* Joomla 1.5.7
* DT Reg 2.3.7
* CB 1.2
* Paypal IPN Enabled


Group registration is turned off

Hello. Is your database prefix something other than jos_? We found a problem related to this and have fixed it for the next release. If this is the case for you, see this post for the fix:

my db prefix for dtregister is jos_ so don\'t think that is the problem. In exporting csv from dtregister i don\'t get the records that are missing in the component as well. if i go to phpmyadmin and look at the actual table data, all the registrations are there, and i can do an export from there and have all of the records. I have done some comparisons on the 2 records that are missing with the ones that aren\'t and don\'t see any discrepancies. Also, on quite a few records the user_ID field is 0, and some are not. I have had some new registrations since the missing records and they are showing up fine. any thoughts?

upgraded to 2.4 and still missing those 2 records if that helps. but the improvements are awesome.

bragaidan - those two previous records may need to be manually added in the backend. Without being able to see your database, I don\'t know what is there and what is not. Things should be fine going forward though.

The userid field is 0 if someone registers without being logged in on your site. If they are not logged in, there is no user to assign it to.

I just setup the system and have found an instance of this issue. I had a user register for two people under Group and I got the confirmation email, but there\'s no record in the database. help! I expect tons more registrations to come flowing in and need to get it resolved so I don\'t lose any info.

I\'m using the latest version (2.4 I think) of DT Reg.
