ok, so i found the session table, whew!!!, good to know that is there, it took a minute, but i got it formatted and ready for import. However, when i arrived home from work to check registrations i was disappointed to see that no new registrations were in the database, but there was a new payment via the registration from paypal, so it appears that problem still exists. i downloaded latest dtregister this morning and uninstalled old and installed new, so i should have latest version. Any ideas, all of my pay laters are fine.
Thanks,
B
Please submit a support ticket providing admin access to your site so we can check the files. Also send a screenshot of your paypal ipn settings so we know you have them set correctly.
Okay... we have found out the problem. The recent release of 2.4.3 works perfectly with paypal IPN UNLESS your menu item for DT Register is NOT public. If it\'s not public, IPN is not able to access it and notify your system of the payment. We\'re looking into a solution for this now.
Temp solution... make your menu item public and it will all work fine. Since DT Register now supports making individual events private, there isn\'t so much a need anymore for a private menu item anyway probably in most cases.
Thanks for the heads up on this!
I have been watching this thread closely because I had a problem with Paypal registrations.
Originally Paypal registrations were working. smoothly (I had even tested a live payment with success). But when I tested things a few days later, things stopped working correctly.
In between I had put password protection on the page. So perhaps this is what created the breakdown.
I\'ll have to go back and try PayPal again now that I have removed the password requirement from the page.
I'm suffering the same problem.
PayPal payment registrations don't show up, registration link is not public.
Paylater (mail-in) are working fine.

The temp solution does NOT work for me because I have created unique security settings using the JUGA system to control who can see what registration when (i.e. I have certain users that can register early, others that have to wait).
Unless DT Register can handle that (different registration dates for different JUGA user groups) then it's not going to work.
The idea of putting those 'unfinished' PayPal payments into the 'Failed Attempt' category would be better than it is right now.
Please let me know if there is any other work-around that will solve this situation for me (I'm not looking forward to explaining this to our groups leaders whom I had to 'convince' to spend the money for DT Register - when they didn't want to go to 'all that trouble').
