TOPIC: [SOLVED] URGENT! Real Payment - NO record!!!

After making payment, I've got the Thank You massage and didn't recieve confirmation mail (not admin, not the client). Nothing was created in the system (no record etc.!)

Paylater working fine.

Please, do something about it.
Tomorrow I plan to launch my site, didn't expect this mistake

I think there's a serious bug!

Scenario:

First I choose group registration, then decided to try it on the individual and clicked BACK in the browser.

Then I entered all the information and on the paypal page noticed that instead of EVENT name there's a DT_EVENT_PAYMENT_DESCRIPTION

but the price was correct.

I have the credit number and etc. entered and made the payment. Then I remember 3 thank you messages (the same)

I think there's a mistake, because the system doesn't know what event was booked.
If I don't click BACK PREV in the browser I can see the event name on the paypal page.

P.S. When the name of my event was DT_EVENT_PAYMENT_DESCRIPTION
The paypal fields wasn't populated (Email, name etc.). If I don't click BACK PREV in the browser and I can see the event name on the paypal page paypal fields are populated correctly.
Now I am going to make one more payment and report here.

One more problem. I thought maybe it's because clicking BACK AND FORWARD using browser.
However the previous bug persists, the records are not created.

Making the payment with the title and the profile data populated on the paypal page doesn't help.

After payment is made there's NO confirmation mails and NO record created!!!

I decided to check what happens if I browse BACK using browser arrows after selecting group registration and then, after coming back, select individual registration. I decided to select PAYLATER

And see what happens!

THIS IS THE REASON OF THE CLONE RECORD WITHOUT PRICE, BOOKING NUMBER ETC.

I have TWO thank you messages, two confirmation mail and two records in the backend (one is clone)

I upgraded to 2.7.2c on my J1.5.22 install, from 2.7.1c. the later version booked just fine, however the new one is not.

I already got two separate bookings not to be traced back in the admin. I changed the settings to private, in the hope the system would book the records properly, but that did not help.

All I did was uninstall the previous version and after the first booking (which I noted because of the PayPal-payment) changed the settings of the events to private, so that people would have to login first.

Payment is only possible via PayPal, so the problem is limited of scope, since I can trace back the event via PayPal (the amounts for the events are different... pfew).

Hope this get fixed asap!

When did you guys download 2.7.2c? We updated it on 1/23 with one fix that was causing session issues affecting the creation of records and carrying all needed data. If you downloaded prior to 1/23, please download and update. See if your issue remains.

Regarding DT_EVENT_PAYMENT_DESCRIPTION, sounds like it may be missing from your language file. It is intended to be used at PayPal at other places when registering for more than one event at a time. The event name will only show in PayPal when ONE event is being registered for.

Regardless, I think your actual issue is the one that was fixed this weekend.
