Thanks!

I will mention on the site in FAQ that using IE6 can cause problems

Am raising a ticket now - Sadly failed to identify the root cause of this... Still getting empty registrations in - I'm contacting these people and asking them to try again - When they do, some register with the intended results and some register but the records still capture only their name and e-mail.... :(

I can confirm IE6 is not actually the problem here - Found an old machine with that - Tested and it's ok.... So still trying to pinpoint this one... but if noone else is seeing missing event title and other data in their 'Records' section at the back-end maybe it's unique to me.... ouch!

Ok here's an interesting thing....

I had a lady today register for one of my events - She registered 6 different people (It's set to Individual only - so she registered 6 times) - She used exactly the same computer.... 5 worked fine. 1 got submitted as one of these 'empty records' that are plaguing me...... (database just records name and e-mail - nothing else not even event name - and default email sent out - not the one attached to the event)

I contacted her and asked her to try again...

She did and it was perfect.

She said she did nothing any different. Same computer. Same data entered.

So what's going on here? Totally bemused and confused! Surely it can't be something like people hitting 'Register' at the same time and the server freaking out? Just clutching at straws here....

Just upgraded to 2.7.2a (was on 2.7.1d) - Issue not specifically mentioned in the change logs... but maybe, just maybe! My registrations die down over the weekend so will see if this issue continues into next week... (but please don't wait to comment if anyone has experience / insight!)

We have been experiencing the same issues that others have posted in this thread. Emails with empty registration details. We were able to track down the issue in our situation. We had links that were created pre DTR 2.7.2 directly to the registration page for a particular event. Any end-user attempting to register that came in through these pre-existing links would result in an empty registration. However, if that same person (same machine, same browser) then went to the DT Register Event Listing page and clicked register, there would not be issues registering and their registration (and emails) completed successfully. Long story short - double check your links to your registration pages. My recommendation is to install the plug_dtregister2_7_2 plugin, through up a link to one of your events in an article and then see what url it generates. Make sure that's the same URL you are using for any hardcoded links to your page. I hope this helps some of you out there experiencing issues.
