Well, we told you we had some new things coming... and here is some of that new stuff! We have released a new menu editor component for Joomla! 1.5 called DT Menu. While there are other menu systems available, there isn't one that will do everything that DT Menu does. As we develop many custom Joomla websites, we have always been frustrated with the other menu solutions. So we finally answered our own problem... and hopefully answered yours! - Three menu item states: normal, hover, and active. No other menu solution will accomlish this out of the box. This is so easy! You can style 3 states including the font, background color or image, icons, etc. Simply pick your desired options and save it. No need to mess with CSS files!!
- Multiple menu support. You're not limited to just one custom menu.
- Horizontal and Vertical support
- Submenus (multi-level) with ability to style them different from the parent menu, with slide-outs, dropdowns, etc.
- Add icons on individual menu items
- Ability to create unique styling for individual menu items
- Use expansion arrows/symbols (in 3 states) to show the existance of a submenu
- Ability to load you own images for backgrounds, icons, separators and expansion symbols
- Released under the GPL license
- Works in Joomla! 1.5 native (no 1.0 version will be developed)
