DT Register 3.0.6 released for Joomla 3.2

We have many new updates to tell you about.  In our last update we had announced our latest release of DT Register and we introduced a new plugin for DT Register.   Since then we have introduced a NEW EXTENSION (DT Invoice) and a NEW version of DT Donate.   There have been many critical fixes as well as several enhancements to DT Register.  We have a new release of DT Register for Joomla 2.5 and 3.x. 

The 3.0x series of DT Register is for Joomla 3.x and the latest version is 3.0.6.  As before, the 2.8.x series is for Joomla 2.5 only and the latest version is 2.8.10.  Here is what we have done for you:

FEATURES & FIXES IN 2.5 and 3.X Versions:  

• Big Enhancements to member discount feature! Now set in configuration a DEFAULT member discount and select which user group(s) it applies to. Also, create additional discount levels as needed. Then, within in each event, you can set it to use the default member discount (so you don't have to re-create it for each event) or create custom member discounts and user group assignments per event!
• Added option to make discount code limits counted per event OR totaled with all events.
• Added ePDQ payment gateway (United Kingdom).
• Added new email tag [CATEGORY] to display event category (or categories) in emails.
• Added multi-language support to mini calendar module for month and day names.
• Fixed issue with PayPal IPN.
• Fixed Auto Reminder Email cron job issues.
• Fixed discount codes for group members so they were not lost on member edits and also to have the ability to use a discount code when manually adding group members.
• Updated EventLink plugin with event selection fix.
• Updated Mini Calendar module with category selection fix. (2.5).
• Fixed frontend event management pagination issues (2.5).
• Fixed frontend pay options management (2.5).
• Fixed issue with adding/editing/deleting group members during the registration process.
• Fixed discount code limit calculations.
• Fixed prerequisite category feature.
• Fixed potential conditional field display issue (3.x).
• Fixed multi-moderator ordering (3.x).

New Version of DT Donate

We released version 3.0.0.   This version is a total re-write of DT Donate and some significant enhancements have been made to the product for Joomla 2.5 and Joomla 3.x.   No changes were made to the 1.5 version.   With this new version of DT Donate, it will be possible to add more gateways into DT Donate quicker than in the past.   Also the product has been opened up to allow for some future plugins to be developed.  Here is what has been added to the new version of DT Donate.

Here is a list of the new features and fixes for DT Donate 3.0.0.

• Fixed install issues.
• Fixed PayPal IPN issues.
• Added DT Donate My Script Plugin.   This plugin allows you to execute any PHP process upon the completion of a donation.   This is included with the core DT Donate product.

NEW PRODUCT - DT Invoice

DTH Development has released a new extension named DT Invoice.   This component allows you to generate invoices automatically when your customers register for events in DT Register.  DT Invoice can also be used as a stand alone invoicing/billing application outside of DT Register. 

Once an invoice is created, the user receives an email with the invoice attached as a PDF.  They can then come to your website, login and view their invoices,  as well as making a payment against invoices.

FEATURES INCLUDE:

• Automatic invoice generation of included DT Register events
• PDF formatted invoice (can be emailed to recipients)
• CSV export and imports
• Customize all email message content
• Currently works on Joomla 3.X  (and soon with 2.5)

What is the Status for Joomla 1.5?

The Joomla 1.5 platform is no longer being updated and these malware issues are popping up because the platform is no longer being updated to address security issues.   We strongly encourage everyone to start making plans to move to a newer version of Joomla very soon as we will be dropping support officially on December 31, 2013 for Joomla 1.5.

Glad you asked... Login to our site, go to My Orders. Next to your order details you will see a Download link. This link always pulls the latest package that is available. You have access to this link for one year from purchase. If your order is no longer active, you would need to make a new purchase to get any further updates. After downloading the update, be sure to follow the upgrade instructions in the readme file.
