It has been about one month since our last update and we have created several enhancements to version 2.8.3 for DT Register in Joomla 2.5! The version for 1.5 has also been enhanced with a new payment option. This update contains a number of fixes and enhancements to DT Register as well as updates about DT Register plugins.

As before, the 2.8.x series is for Joomla 1.7/2.5 only. The 1.5 version has been updated to 2.7.20 in this new package update containing a couple small fixes. Version 2.8.x and beyond leaves Joomla 1.5 behind. Since the last 2.8.2 release, here is what we have done for you:

FEATURES & FIXES in 1.7/2.5 Version:

• Added multi-language support through integration with Falang.  DT Register originally provided support through integration with JoomFish but since it has not been supported on Joomla 2.5 we decided to change to integration with Falang.   Falang is a fork of JoomFish so we believe it was the best decision for our customers.
• Fixed issue where the Mini-Calendar module was not displaying days 1 through 9 of months.
• Fixed issue that caused export to CSV to freeze.
• Fixed issue where frontend location management was not assigning latitude or longitude when creating or editing a location.
• Fixed issue where backend was configured to not show character count for text area fields but fronted would still show it.
• Fixed issue that prevented discount codes from being deleted in both the backend and frontend for discount management.
• Fixed issue in searching through event records.   The search would not return results when searching by first and last name.

** BRAND NEW VERSION OF MYSCRIPT PLUGIN **

MyScript Plugin is now supported with DT Register on Joomla 2.5.  The plugin allows you to customize DT Register by giving you the ability to insert your own PHP script that will run after all successful registrations.  

Note:  You will need to be using DT Register 2.8.3.  The cost for this plugin is $15   GET IT HERE!

FEATURES & FIXES in 1.5 Version:

• Enhanced DT Register 2.7.20 for Joomla 1.5 to support SIM with Authorize.net.  This was already available for Joomla 2.5.   When using SIM with Authorize.net the user will be redirecting to an external secure page from Authorize.net to collect the payment rather then processing the payment within your website.

What is the Status for Joomla 3.0?

We have completed internal testing of DT Register 3.0 version for Joomla 3.0. It is being packaged for our website.  We anticipate it will be posted on our website by November 30. However, we do not recommend that anyone actually use Joomla 3.0 in a live site yet. We'd suggest waiting to at least 3.1.  Our other extensions being tested with Joomla 3.0 and we will update you when they are available.

Glad you asked... Login to our site, go to My Orders. Next to your order details you will see a Download link. This link always pulls the latest package that is available. You have access to this link for one year from purchase. If your order is no longer active, you would need to make a new purchase to get any further updates. After downloading the update, be sure to follow the upgrade instructions in the readme file.
