As the number of DT extension users continues to rise and we are always putting tons of effort into ongoing enhancement and feature development, we often find ourselves short on man hours. While we did recently add a new member to our support team, we still struggle off and on to keep up with support to the level that we desire. As we contemplate solutions for this, we have come up with this proposition... which has been suggested by several of our existing users.
That is to offer a Priority Support Subscription option. This would be a monthly subscription that could be cancelled at any time. As a priority subscriber, you would receive priority treatment in the stack of support requests, meaning a faster turn-around time for you. Everyone else would still receive help to the best of our ability, but we'd address issues by priority subscribers first. We may also offer some type of chat level support to these subscribers. We would offer a subscription plan for each of our extensions, then also probably off a plan to covers all extensions.
Besides giving all of our users the option of getting a faster track on support items, this should also enable us to add both hours and personnel to our support team. We believe this could be a great solution all the way around, but before we launch it, we first want to get some feedback from our current users. We have setup a simple poll that we would like all registered users to participate in, letting us know what you think.
