TOPIC: 2.7 release?

I saw in another thread that it's supposed to be tomorrow...

Any word on this release... during training last week we were advised it would be coming Monday. It is now Wednesday.

We're trying hard to have something out in the next 24 hours or so. Sorry for the delays guys, but just can't push it out the door until it's all ready. All the work is now done. Just doing final bug testing and making some display adjustments. Thanks.

Be patient - the new features are well worth the wait. Do take friday's training seminar to see what's up

I know that Nathan is looking forward to a well deserved rest because almost every bell and whistle we've requested (and some we didn't realize we want) are in 2.7.

Surely, it'll take us at least week after the update before we start clamoring for new "must have" features

Wrong Ginjg... we're already getting more feature requests to add after 2.7 is released. No rest for the weary... haha

It's so much easier for the "other guys". They just copy what we do. We're the ones that have to lead the way and actually come up with new innovative ideas. Not really fair, but I guess someone has to lead the way!

I was on the webinar yesterday and have to say 2.7 looks a lot slicker and user friendly (mainly due to the dependancy on JEvents).

I'm lucky in my client has been dragging their heels for a few weeks now, which has given me the opportunity to wait for 2.7.
