Honestly at this point, I think the best way to get the support team taking care of their clients is to post our opinions over at http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/calendars-a-events/events/events-registration/2037 . I hate to do this to them but if they wont support their product, I believe this is the only way to go at this point.

I have had a ticket opened with them for a week now and not a single response.

JJ thats a bit rash mate . They just released 2.7.2b . No this version has not fixed my problems but they obviously are attending to things on a priority basis .
So they are supporting it , Just that too many people are hitting them with too many different things . This will ( is ) the best mod out there for the job , And I am sure all the bugs and tweaks will be done in time .

I do agree with all the post on this off topic discussion. I see that JomSocial set their component numbers to odd and even. new release are given a odd series and proven-stable are given a even number. I am still with dth2.6 and look forward to moving to 2.7 but think I may wait.
If DTH released 2.7 as a work in progress it would have eased all these concerns and the many good folks out there with the web ability could have critiqued 2.7 until it was a proven version. New customers who support the continued existance of this project would have a proven/stable option to buy into. I think the odd even as far as JomSocial goes has defined the three stages R/C(odd) - Stable(odd) - Proven/Stable (even)
Regrettably I offer no web expertise and stand to only use the even products JomSocial offers but I continue to appreciate all the work the entire community does to farther the development. maybe this odd even is a system that DTH can addopt??

As this thread has gone completely off track of my original queries and is yet to get a valid response , I have tried 2.7.2c and still get the same errors .
Going to update my ticket as we can't wait any longer .
But let me say that this Extension I know will definately serve our purpose and IMO has everything it needs to do the job and more .
So I will still be giving it 5 stars at JED when its all sorted with no bad feedback at all as this extension is the best out there with nothing else coming close .
Even though I am having troubles now, But from my experience , Staff are dealing with problems on a priority basis to keep everything running smootly .

I think i can get it to work without changing the fields so I am going to test that otherwise I will just have to disable it until it is working correctly for us .

Thanks for all the hard work guys . Keep it up ! :D
