Hello,

is it possible to have different prices for the same event, for exemple, i create an event for a show, and in this event i want register :
- adult for 20$
- children for 5$

Can i do that ?

Imagine a family who want register for the show with 2 adults and 2 children with different price, but in one event.

Regards,

Frédéric.

You can create custom fields where the user selects if they are an adult or child. The price can be modified based on the user's selection. Then for multiple people, you can do a group registration and set that custom field to show for each member in the group so each member is calculated correctly. Or you can just do an individual registration and have custom fields for multiple members. You could accomplish the goal a couple different ways... just whichever way fits you best.

OK, yes, i am in testing with this at this time.

The way to make fee fields with reduction for children work fine, but the message at the top of the registration form is false, or not very precise.

The perfect way would be to put the event cost to zero, and to calculate fee by select way per member in registration. But if i put zero, the price displayed in the categorie is "Free".

So is there a way to put a number (price) wich is not add in the proccess.

I dont know if you understand what i mean ?

Regards.

Yes, you could put the price at $0 then price through custom fields. You can't change the display of "Free" in the listing of events specific to that one event. You can change "Free" in the language file to something else, but it would apply to all events where "Free" would be used. You could also just hide the price column in the list of events and put your pricing details in the Description area.

Also, you might want to see this post about modifying the display of the registration cost:

OK, thanks.

I thing i use first method, and precise they is a discount for kids.

I thing it is better because i dont want to touch the code, and edit the language file is not a good solution for me.

Thanks a lot, regards,

Frédéric.

I'm stuck. I have an event with 4 different registration prices:
individual member: $22
Ind-non-member: $27
Group (2) members: $35 a couple
Group (2) non-member: $45 a couple

I watched all the videos, and did use custom fields and conditional fields for t-shirts, etc.

Do I use a minus amount for the group field 2nd member or...?
