TOPIC: [SOLVED] Thanks Email tags not populating with data

I installed 2.5.8 and that partially fixed the problem. Now the Thank You email is working correctly. However, I am still receiving one notification email with all of the correct information, and a second email with no information populated. In addition the registrant still receives the SMTP error message after returning from PayPal.

Please let me know if you need more information or if there are additional steps that I somehow missed. I followed the ReadMe.txt instructions, uninstalling the old component and plugin, then installing the new component and plugin (the module was the same release, so I did not touch that).

Again, thanks in advance (btw, we LOVE this product...just have to fix this little glitch).

wmcpa - That issue is unrelated to this post but...
Sounds like you have auto-return enabled in your PayPal account. This is a no-no. Go to Profile -> Selling Preferences -> Website Payment Preferences

There you will find the auto-return option. Turn it OFF and you should be set.

Also, to make sure you have the latest 2.5.8 build, verify that the date shown in the component installation list is Oct. 7, 2009. Thanks.

I do have the latest build. Turning off Auto Return solved all of the issues...thanks!

I updated this post because I had indicated that there was an issue regarding PayPal notifications...found out there is no issue. All is right in the world...this fix does everything we need it to do!!!

I have the same problem, only thing is I am running 2.62a.

After the sale goes through PayPal it takes me back to my site but at the top of the thank you page is says "SMTP Error! The following recipients failed:" there are no recipients listed. Also none of the information is being poplulated in the message:
