TOPIC: [SOLVED] No thumbnails generated since update

Hi Guys, I updated from 270h to 273

and now when I upload an event image, it fails to generate a thumbnail. All i get is the broken link icon.

Any ideas?

Hey...check your permissions on the folder /public_html/images/dtregister and inside there...there is a folder for eventpics. If the folders are 755, check and see if the images are in there. If not...go into the event, delete the image and put it in there again. Let us know if that works.

the permissions are all 755, and the images are getting uploaded fine. They're just not displaying in the list or in the backend after I upload one.

I get a broken link icon. When I right click, view image in a new tab, it takes me here:

xxxx/index.php?option=com_dtregister&controller=file&task=thumb&w=100&h=150&filename=images/dtregister/eventpics/band.jpg

I seem to be having the same problem. We have four events. Three were added a few weeks ago with no problem. The fourth event was added today and now this one will not display the event image, though the file shows in the folder.

I had the same problem, but I changed the root folder permissions to 777 and then removed what I uploaded earlier... went back to the events and uploaded the images again and then it worked fine.

Oh, remember to SAVE the page, otherwise, you won't see them and you'll have to repeat the upload again. I had forgotten to do that after the upload, duh?

re uploading, changing folder permissions to 777 didnt fix my problem.

I upload a file, it seems to work fine but instead of loading a thumbnail it loads a broken link image instead..

the image is uploaded to the directory fine.
