TOPIC: [SOLVED] No thumbnails generated since update

Couple of things here that may cause that:

1) Check your file name and make sure there are no spaces in the title. If there are, then replace with underscores.

2) Make sure the image is an RGB and NOT a CMYK. Set the resolution to 72 dpi and use file formats as either png, gif or jpg.

Sometimes images are corrupt, so I would also open it in PS and re-save it.

Turns out it was some sort of corrupt jpg. Other images are uploading and displaying fine.

I have the same problem, but no ideas from above worked.
I tried gif, png, jpg with 72 dpi and RGB. I saved the images again and again with PS.
I tried all folders with 755 and 777.
The picture upload works, but I get an error.
And: I tried a fresh joomla installation on the same server (same joomla version) and it works fine. All the settings are the same.
Does anybody have an idea?

I would go to your root folder and navigate to the images/dtregister/eventpics and delete those files and start over fresh. You may be still seeing the old images or cache.

If you still get errors then something is corrupt with your original files. File format errors is not a DTRegister error, it's in the file itself.

In which file?
I deleted the files, deleted the caches. I uninstall DTRegister and make a new install with version 2.7.3a and c. Nothing works.
I spent hours and hours with this. I tried several image files: gif, jpg, png.
Can I upload the thumbnail file manually?
