TOPIC: Browser tabs BIG PROBLEM

Ok let me try and explain ... If i can
We found a HUGE problem tonight that will only effect multiple entries off the same computer and same browser .
The reason why we found it was because we lost 12 records today ( that we know of ) in 2.7.2d
So we upgraded to 2.7.2e tonight and tested it ( did 40 test registrations )

IF you open up your event listing page ,
Say for example it has 3 listings of events
And you right click ( on a pc ) and open in a new tab any event ,
then while still on the event page right click ANOTHER EVENT and open THAT ONE in a new tab , GREAT! You have 2 events open in new tabs that you wish to fill out .

PROBLEM :- once filling out the first one in TAB # 1 , GREAT !
Works fine .Then when you go into tab #2 (Which you opened before )and fill it out ,
Everything is screwed .

The form either doesn't get submitted or after the first page of the form
( Before the MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS RIGHT page )
you get booted back to the event page.
And the record either doesnt submit ( No record recorded in the DB )
or submits from another event .
( Signing up for Club Membership (On our site ) registers the record as under 12-17's with none of the fields from club membership)

2 of our test registrations tonight actually recorded as another event .( As above )

This probably wouldnt effect the normal user , But today we had 10 laptops taking registrations at a club and obviously some of the girls were a bit PC savvy and knew how to open links in new tabs .

I can see this effecting the normal user who will do the same from home
(Might want to sign up for multiple events so opens them in new tabs)
and confuse the normal Event Manager ( Site owner ) as his records will be all screwed up yet the user at home thinks alls good

So in summary
( Which we have to explain to the girls tomorrow )
is, Dont TAB out of the event list!
Always start a new registration from the registration link provided at the site and not open all three events in new tabs .
( As we tested another 40 to make sure,and after each registration we clicked on the event Menu link , which is our event list, after the thankyou page and all went well )

As I dont know if this is a bug , I hope this knowledge ( If you guys can follow it )

Just ran the demo reg here at this site .
It is doing the same thing
I signed up one All County Basketball Weekend event
Then tried again from the event list and all was OK
Then opened it twice in tabs first one got messed up
second one got booted back to the event list screen after choosing group reg
Just testing to see if it was my end which it obviously isnt

What browser are you using guys?

In my event list I get to the registration if I click "register"
I opened the same two event in two different tabs, then accomplished the first one (OK). The second one didn't allow me to submit the form (I got redirected to the event list).

Am I doing something wrong?

No vostokoved , Thats the problem i am having as well .
As you can't predict how users will sign up this seems to be a problem

That is part of the problem and it seems to change its mind every reg
