Well...at least it doesn't make the clone record appear, because the system is trying to protect the user. If he submitted the information once, why would he want to do it again in the different tab?

Paypal and other STEP BY STEP (or page by page) registration systems don't allow using the browser buttons at all.

It's actually what I was hoping to see in DTR. Ideally if the whole registration process is AJAX powered. If the page reloads, the user thinks that the browser navigation can help him to go back if he wants.

What are you guys trying to achieve here? Allow the second registration process of the same event opened in another tab?

No nothing like that vostokoved .
I am having issues as we have a 10 laptops registering at once from the club and some of the girls ( to save time ) were opening the events ( which there are three of ) in different tabs . Then going to those tabs and registering each event .
Which we found causes errors .
If they go back to the MAIN reg link after each registration its fine .
They have been told now and everything is working as it should
We do not have mulitple reg set up as we need a user account for each registration and one of those events is a pre-requisite .
So no multi reg , so they have to sign up each event seperately .
Just an issue if you are doing what we are i suppose
But I can see it being an issue if someone is used to tabbing out of links
example :- Johnny user wants to sign up for 4 events from home
johnny user opens all 4 events in new tabs
then fills them all in
He will either get errors , re-direct back to event list or the thankyou page will be double or triple in message replies and the record will come through as your last ( by time ) event
