TOPIC: allow people to "regret" when registering

a lot of my users are trying to send regrets, or tell me they are NOT going to be at an event. I could always make "I regretfully cannot attend" a choice in the custom fields, but then it will appear as if they did attend in the CB profile. I'd like to see a "regret" method that allows members to say they are not attending and it doesn't count towards their event history.
