TOPIC: MVC for Template Overrides

I know it's a daunting task, but porting the component over to MVC architecture would enable developers to tweak aspects of the component without modifying it's core using Joomla's template overriding features. I recently completed a project this would have been extremely useful for, plus it would allow developers to go table-less.
