TOPIC: Access control for payment methods

I would love to be able to set access permissions for payment methods depending on what user group a person is in. We are only allowing DTR access to site registered users and only allowing credit card payment. I'd like to let someone who is enrolling people for us to have access to the pay by check option. If I could define that as an option for the Special user group I could put our enrollers in Author and be good to go.

I see no one has answered questions about using a 3rd party ACL add-on with DTR but that might be an option, also.
