TOPIC: Discount Codes-Manual Entry

Forgive me if I have missed something but I would like a couple of features relating to discount codes if possible;-

1. Manual Entry.
I would like registrants to be able to enter a discount code which they may have been sent by email. Is this posbbile?

2. User Groups.
It would be nice to have a discount code which is applied automatically for a selected user group, or perhaps subject to the value in a specified field matching a value in the discount code. Does this make sense?

These two features would provide a great deal of flexibility.

Hello. The items you want already exist and have for a while

Discount Codes - you can create multiple discount codes using either $ or %, then select per event which codes to allow for each event... then send the codes to the appropriate users.

Custom Fee Fields - there is no automatic discount based on the user type... however you can assign fees or discounts to custom fields. This would not tie to a discount code, but doesn't have to. You can assign a positive or negative value to each option of a dropdown, checkbox or radio button field.
