TOPIC: Ability to have different pricing models

We are having an event that is $50 for non members, $40 for members and $20 for children. Would be nice to have an option for people to just pick which group they are in instead of the blank one size fits all approach.

If there is an easy way to do the child registration please, please let me know. I know I can do the member/non member easily but we are not currently tracking members vs. non-members in joomla. This means that people that are not truly members of our club could still get the discount, they are just members of our website. We're working on that which is not your problem.

This type of functionality has been a part of DT Register for a long time. You can use custom fields where a user would select their registration type, then the price is modified accordingly. You can also use discount codes for giving selected users access to discounted pricing.

Again, you beat me too it. Sorry to have wasted your time. I thought custom fields were just for descriptions and text boxes. The video has opened my eyes to a whole new world.
