Hi again,

while promoting events it makes sense to me to offer my users a way to externaly link to my events. I would like to have something like a "customizable Short-Information to integrate". Every user can download a little script and use it on his site ... it links into my site for register to an event.

The script should show up with different informations:
- Number of maximum participants
- Number of free places
- Price of the event
- Date of the Event
(...)

But it should also not only link up to one single event, it should be dynamical so that when the event is over it will link to some other event. How to solve?

I imagine two versions of the script:

- One version links up only to one special event and when the event is over, the event is jumping to the "follow-up-event". This can be the "next event of this category" or alternatively a manual defined "follow-up-event".

- The other version brings up a little "list of events". It brings up all events that match to some criterias, most sense the category.

Here two examples for this events:

- A friend makes an advertisement for one special event, so he links up directly to that one event.

- A participant writes on his website about an event and directly links up to the next events of that kind: Second version, Category-listed.

- The hotel where the seminar/event takes place shows a description of myself on theire homepage. They only want to show the events, that take place in theire hotel. Second Script, list of all events but sorted by place.

One more option makes sense: I would like to use this subscription-link in an affiliate-system. So I also need to be able to "add the ref-code" at the end of the link.

Hopefully you understood what I meant. My question: Who else would need something like that?

Best wishes, J ulian!
