I really need the ability to set payment options per event. Different events are handled in different manners at our organization and for one type of event we need to require payment at the time of online registration and not allow pay later and for other types, we need to allow to pay online or pay later. I can only find a way to set payment options globally for all events.
I am in this same boat - I have several different accounts that payment needs to be sent to for different events. Right now I can only do one event at a time since I have to change the pay-to for each one.
This should be pretty easy. . .and would be VERY beneficial.
Our organization has the same need - to sometimes accept only credit cards for certain events, and to allow "pay later" options as well as credit card for other events. Why? In particular, some events that allow group registrations need the ability for the group to submit one lump check (i.e., pay later). But other events that register only individuals should collect credit card payment right away. That's just one example... but having full flexibility to turn on any or all payment methods per event would solve it. It does seem like this would be fairly straightforward to add to the event options. As it stands now, the global settings of available payment options isn't very scalable.
We're just now implementing DTRegister and putting it into production this week. But within 6 months, we'll likely have up to 30-50 events open for registration concurrently, as we migrate away from our old platform.
This is also a much needed feature for us. We are an association that supports a large number of affilliated clubs. Each club has its own PayPal account that payment needs to go into, not the association's account. The clubs also offer different payment options per event.
Not having this is proving a big problem for us. I am having to negotiate with each event organiser to agree the lowest common denominator set of payment options - Result? No one is particularly happy!
