Wish #1:

I have an event where the is one fee for adults and another fee for children. This may be handled if there were different \"types\" of registrants.

Wish #2:

Also, the discount, in my understanding is for the total not the individual registrant.

Option
1) discount by total
2) discount by each registrant (in a group)

Wish #3:

Create a \"delimiter\" type field type (no input) so one can use it to display text or html in the form. I need this to place descriptive text. This should be a real easy one...

M2C (My two cents)

Thanks,

Peace & Joy,

Wish #1-

yes it can be done in custom fields, but then you have to set your base registration amount and add to it with the drop down or you set your base registration to 0 and make it free. Either way, it is confusing to the user (\"Your total Registration cost: 245.00 ( Event fees = 0.00; Additional Fees = 245.00)\"). I am with Jeffhoneyager on this one and try not to confuse the user.

With 2.4.3, you can now use discount/promo codes which enables you to provide additional discount levels by providing codes to your users that will discount either a $ amount or % percentage.

Also, regarding adding text into the form, this function was added a couple versions ago with a new custom field type \"textual\".
