Yes me too! I would like more front end access.

My registered users can submit Jevents for approval now.

I would like for the event owner to be able to :
set up registrations
be able to get a list of registrations
send email to all registrations
be able to remove cancellations
work with the waiting list

Just about everything you can do in the backend except change the paypal info and they are only allowed access to change events that they own.

Maybe a button in the JCE editor for this. That way articles and stories submitted by users could include the click here to register or a list of registrations could be placed in the article.

everything else are great
easy, simple and manageable.. BUT
front end need extra.. whereby..
we can setup event as per back end i.e. DT register control panel so no need to login backend but instead doing all those setup from front end.
this would be greater to have..
