TOPIC: DT Register

Hi there,

I purchased this component without really studying the feature requests list and total suitability to my site, so in a nutshell thats my fault completely.
DT Register has some real nice features and ill keep an eye on the development as time goes by, as it doesnt work for me in several areas at the current time.

I run a Sim Racing Site where its a members only site.
The event registration is used to register for upcoming races,
the first massive problem I have is that these events are only open to \"Members\" so that no unregistered members can get a seat in the race. I see this has been echoed in other feature requests, but in my case its imperative.
Secondly, the drivers want to see who else has registered for a race, and again this feature has been asked for before I believe.
Thirdly, the waiting list is one of the features that attracted me to DT Register, and is a great idea, but as it stands there seems to be no way to remove some of the field during waiting list application.
The idea of being able to see who\'s registered and who\'s on the waiting list is important to us too.
Finally, the ability for my drivers to cancel their registration is also paramount so this is an important factor.

Just one note, id pay 3 times the amount for a component with the above features

Thanks for your suggestions and comments. This component will always be in development. We have much in store so definitely stay tuned as the features you want WILL be included... hopefully sooner than later.

Been a while since I looked in on the development of this potentially marvelous software and i noticed that some of what I asked for above has been implemented. Great Job
I see its now possible to make \"private\" sessions and that it appears that a \"who\'s registeres list is on the way? or is it already and Ive missed something?
Is the ability to cancel your registration now a feature?

I downloaded the latest version and stuck it on a test box, some big improvements there for sure, but two thing i forgot to add 5 months ago were, where it has the expiration of the event registration, is it possible to have times as well as a date?
and it would be ideal if there was a way to unveil passwords for the attendees?

a lot to ask, but are these things in development?
