This may have been listed before and I missed it, but is it in the roadmap to make update notifications available in Joomla? Currently it is hard to find out if minor versions have been released. You may post that version 3.12.1 has been released and then you go and download it later on and find that there is also 3.12.1a that has also been released and there was no news about it but it fixes some annoying bug. Especially with registration.
