08.) Multiple Items in Cart

-I like the idea of the multiple events in the cart... but

I don't like it for free events.

I know the overlap checking should probably still work and tell the user
that you have selected events that overlap etc etc... but just in case it
doesn't for some reason... it would be nice to have a similar override
options for events so that an event can be set NOT to be allowed in the
cart with other items.

ie: Someone wants to register for the Con, and also a Vendor table. Since
the table requires the Con registration, it's okay that these can be in
the cart and they both cost money for making a single payment is nice...

but all the game events are free, and when registering for game events
someone might a bit over zealous and select multiple games that overlap
and have 14 games in their cart (with 3 or 4 overlapping times)... now the system should detect this and let the user know... or multiple users
trying to register for the same slots might go over the limit... and again all this is probably suppose to be detected on the fly to tell someone there are no slots left or there are time conflicts... but, the problem is I think it creates a problem with a user having to remove items from the cart etc... so for the free game events it should be one at a time

the real reason is that game event registration opens at a specific time
prior to the convention. Since everyone knows this time, there can be
50-100 people online right before the event registration opens refreshing
the site until the registration button goes active... then it's a mad rush for all these users to get the available slots... I just think allowing them to have a cart with multiple items before "posting" will create a massive problem... so just better to make them have to register one at a time for events that I specify (really in my case better if I specify the events that CAN be in the cart with others since I have less of those, but either way works) ... otherwise I guess I need to disabled the multiple lines in a cart option for now. (which I have done)
