06.) Overlap Checking/Event Creation:

works great, but need a bit more...

-When we create events, those Game Events are run by specific users. These users must be signed up for the Main Event before we allow them to run a game. So, I need to be able to have a field that I can choose to select or not ie: Does this Event have a Game Master (possibly a user editable field name so it could be a "coordinator"). Now I can enable this option and in the Event I select a user to be the "Coordinator". This is required for overlap checking since the user can't coordinate an event and sign up for an event at the same time. So, if the user attempts to register for an event that overlaps with on he is in charge of, he get's an admin defined message that says "Hey, you are already slated to RUN an event during the time !". BUT I as the ADMIN should get
this type notification as I mention further up if I attempt to assign a
coordinator to an time slot that already overlaps with an event this user
is already signed up for (and it should check Prerequistes too so I
"can't" assign a person if they aren't already signed up for the Main Event.)
-Currently you allow someone to be the "event owner", but it isn't listed
in their "events", there is no overlap checking, it's basically useless
for my needs... I am forced to create an entire second set of events and
then manually register the "owner" to this hidden event so he can't
accidentally sign up for something that might overlap with his duties
during that time.

-Once an event has a "coordinator", I'd like the user/coordinator to have
the ability to EDIT specific fields that I can set. ie, they might need to
change the short description of the event or the max user count (I need to
be able to set a max max, ie: I set that the event can't have more than 12
users since the room can only hold 12, the event coordinator might only
want 8 people in his game so he can set it to 8, but he can't set it to
15) So maybe... the LOCATION can have a MAX limit and if the coordinator
or even the ADMIN attempts to set and event for more than the LOCATION's
MAX limit, it can't be done... that makes the most sense.... coordinators
would never be able to change times or dates... just the short description
and MAX users for the event checked against the MAX users for the
location. Maybe other fields as defined by the admin.
