A plugin allowing us to insert a dropdown selection list of recurring events or events from a specific category into a K2 Item / Joomla article would be a great improvement for making a visually easy and nice way for registering.

I.e. when we have an article / k2 Item describing the event ("Monday Evening Club") We could insert a "Choose which Monday to register to" and a {dtrecurr 12} tag in the item, which would insert a pulldown list where the user can chose the date and be taken to the correct registration page.

The module for showing events from a certain category works, also for recurring events if those are the only ones in a certain category and can thus be chosen that way, but in a responsive layout which should work for also mobile devices, the registration link / module with all the events after eachother takes too much room and is easily shown in a totally wrong place on the page making it hard for the end user to register.

This has existed for a long time in our EventLink plugin. It doesn't work with K2 items... but with regular Joomla articles. If you assign the same article to more than one event as the "details article", then the Register button that is embedded automatically in the article will have a dropdown with it showing all events assigned to that same article. You have to select one before clicking Register.

If you manually insert the button using the plugin syntax, it won't work as you've already designated exactly which event (using the ID number) to register for. This works when it auto displays in the article.
