TOPIC: Smarter discountcode time setup

I want to sell my users a unlimited discount for 6 months.
This can be done with a discount code and ad a end date for this code.

But I want to limit the events that can be registered to to this time span.

Now users can register free beyond this 6 months as long as the get the free tickets in the 6 month time. I can tell them this is not allowed but I want my system to be able to do this.

Do you get the point and would this be a possible option in future releases?

You can select within each event what discount codes can be used for the event. So in this case, you'd just enable the code per event, and only enable it for events during that 6 month time frame.

Ah yes that could be a workaround but then I have to cycle trough all events (24) to select this dicountcode.

ANd if i make a new event I have to check alle discountcodes if they belong to this event.

Sound like an unwanted lot work. But could try.
