TOPIC: Multiple Event Discounts

For those of us that are marketing (and trying to 'up-sell') event registrations, DT Register is not able to keep up with the needs.

We need to have the ability to use the multi-event cart, but also be able to give discounts to events when a user is also registering for other events.

Use Case:

Available Events:

EVENT REG.FEE
Event-A $100
Event-B $100
Event-C $100
Event-D $100

Need ability to add discounts to the cart like these:

Discount 1: User registers (has in cart) Event-A and Event-B - $25 discount on cart

Discount 2: User registers (has in cart) Event-A,Event-B,Event-C,Event-D - 25% off entire cart

and various combinations like this.

There would need to be the ability to have multiple discount options entered and processed before the actual payment process.

These need to be 'automatic' discounts that are processed every time something is added to the 'cart'.

It would be 'nice' to have the ability to limit these discounts (i.e. First 10 people to use them, by date, etc.)

This is pretty standard stuff (and expected from clients) for any online buying system.

DT Register is really in need of this sort of discount option.

I'd like that too... As I have a client who would be very happy with that functionality.

we would like to have this feature too!!

where we can make bundled events together, or we can set a promotion that can link several events with a certain discount.

for example:

event 1 cost $100
event 2 cost $200

Promo Package event1 + event2 = $250

One potential solution for this would be to do an integration with AWOCoupons.

The AWOCoupons system is VERY robust and can handle almost anything you can throw at it (in terms of coupon/discount combinations and rules).

I don't know how hard it would be to do an integration, but it would likely be easier to do one integration rather than trying to develop all the possible coupon/discount possibilities.

NOTE: I'm an AWO Coupon user (with several of my clients) so I can help test IF this were an option to move forward.

I'm looking for a feature to offer a "season's pass" for a festival with about 7 events. The user shouldn't need to add all 7 events to his cart, but instead just add the pass to his/her card.

This goes a bit beyond the discount options above, as there would be ONE purchase, but the user needs to be automatically registered for each even which is part of this pass.
