TOPIC: Addl Field Attributes

Hi!
It would be nice to have more selectable and powerful field attributes when adding fields to DT Register. I would like 'ALL' those fields to sync with Joomla User and Contacts for further use; and of course everything should hook to several newsletters too.

How to do this? I understand and have used Community Builder successfully for many of these activities including expanded database field usage. CB is very granular and tiresome; and Fabrik is even worse. (However Fabrik is far more powerful with great 'utility' import tools.) I did not enjoy the ordeal I had to go through to utilize CB to do a big project successfully. DTRegister's CB Plugins helped greatly complete this process of integration. CB seemed to be just way over kill with a final result that was not that visually appealing. I would rather have a straight forward approach like DT Register; And then skip the CB social pie. I would have used a product like FBConnect and/or a comments and forum feature for that part with far more appealing results.

Also I would like to add additional admin tabs (to organize the fields) used in the construction of backend DT Event Form; Or I would like the DT Event form make these fields apart of a 'next page' as the DT Event form is completed. That way they can be displayed on separate web pages as filled out and/or made more easy to organize in the admin back end.

Also I would like a more robust DTcalendar with operations more like JEvents. Such as the JEvents legend. I like the color coordination with category events via the java script events tool tip.

I am having problems getting DT Register to link with JEvents and it seems limiting to enter an event twice to get a more color coordinated JEvents calendar etc. I have tried installing the JEvents again after the JEvents install. But no link or sync to DTRegister. So the calendar improvement would be a very nice visual. But would be secondary to a superior integration for the other things I need in ease of database usage in integration with my imagined website work flow.

Thanks, I like the DT Register Product a lot. It is truly great. It has come along leaps and bounds in the last two years. It was way ahead of the pack at the time I first purchased it then.

I hope I can get some feedback from others who are dreaming of more streamlined use of complex relational databases in a Joomla CMS.
