TOPIC: [ADDED] Confirmation No. prefix should be event-specific

We are using DTRegister ver. 2.7.13a and the simplest (non-commercial) PayPal payment option. I could really use the ability to assign an event-unique prefix to the confirmation number so both the registrants and our treasurer, who receives the PayPal accounting reports, will know to which account the payment is applied. I see no way to do that now, so I assume it would be a new feature. Thanks for your consideration.

i also support this request. It is already a great improvement that one can choose a prefix for the confirmation number, and that one can choose the starting number as well.

However, to have specific numbers per event would help a lot when one has simultaneous events, to help distinguish which number belongs to which event. It helps our book keeping, but also helps the participants to understand which event they registered to, if they register for multiple events at the same time.

In our events the participants´s confirmation number is printed in large characters and they have to wear it during the event. It would definitely help to have event specific numbers -with their own prefix too.
