I'd love to see you implement unique CSS tags on every element of the reg list, forms, etc.
The reason for this is, right now I can't custom style very much of the form and barely any of the list, because things are all generic. I can override SOME things in the template, but then I run into things like the date and time being lumped together in the code...so there's no way I can do things like hide the time and format the date in a badge style layout.
Long term, I'd love to see you take on Ohanah. It does maybe a 10th of what DTRegister can do...but MAN is it pretty.
You can see it in use on our site:
globalawakening.com
It's been hacked (because it's pretty light on features) but it's running our event and trip modules, and our master event page (with world map of all events). The detail pages are in Ohanah too (not joomla), so they get managed and linked properly (it does have its drawbacks, but it's pretty slick).
Anyway, I'd LOVE to be able to style DTRegister's events list like you see on our site...and without a lot of hacking I just can't.
Same. Been styling as much as I can using as wide an array of selectors that i can find, but would be much cleaner if each element was styled uniquely (or in combos of classes).
Wow, thanks for that link. I know CSS better than most of the Joomla site builders I know...and I STILL consider myself a hack. That article in invaluable and will help me clean up my bloated code.
