TOPIC: New features requested

I have several features I'd like to request:

1. When one clicks on an event to display the details, I'd like to be able to attach a file to the event (perhaps a detailed flyer - pdf) that the person can then click on to either display or download.

2. The ability to have a text field in the event add/edit function that would allow the event creator to type text into that can be displayed to the user - yes, I see that one could create an article in Joomla that one link to, but I would just like a blank text field to enter text.

3. The ability to designate an event to not accept registrations - I only want to notify people of an upcoming event. I can set the "accept registrations" date to after the event (which works) but if I want to display all (old and new) events (not just new ones) then the old event will accept registrations.

4. The ability to customize the "list events" display to select which fields in an event to display. For instance, if #2 above was available for me to enter text (or a web link embedded in the text field for instance), I could choose to have this field display on the "list events" display.

Custom event fields would be a useful feature for me too.

Has anyone worked out how to do this and can share about it here?
