TOPIC: Members and Non-Member pricing

I really need to have separate pricing for members and non members, or at least a way to have visitors need to login before being able to register. Is there a simple PhP adjustment to the events.html.php file to hide the link to register for an event? Maybe replaced with "you must login to register" if they are not logged in? I need this, too, however, it's a bit more complicated. I want to give a discount to people who have purchased products and services in the past. So, it's not simply for registered users, but users of a specific type.
