What if I just want to advertise an event but I'm not the one taking the bookings?
I want to be able to list the event and details but not register anyone.

Please add this simple functionality which should be there by default but seems to have been taken out on purpose?

A useful addition for this would be a redirect link field somewhere.

BodgeIT - this was not taken out... it just has never been there, at least not in the parameter you are looking. It IS still possible to do what you need... and it can be found in other forum posts too.

Simply set the "Registration Open Date" to any date AFTER the event. This will list the event but never have registration functionality activate for the event. Then assign a "Details Article" to the event and activate the Details button. Then users can go to a page on your site telling more info, with links to other places if need be.

While the functionality you need is already there, we will be adding an option of "None" as you were expecting to see. As you know, DT Reg is in a constant state of improvement so this will get added in a future update. In the meantime, you can still do it, just a different way.

It would ALSO be helpful to be able to turn OFF the:
Price
Capacity
Registered
Moderator On each event and not just the module.

That way it could be used as just an events calendar OR an event's registration calendar component with little effort. Effectively killing 2 bird with 1 stone.
