TOPIC: updating paid status for multiple participants

Excellent - I just updated to 2.7.2 today and am very happy about the attendance button and the ability to update multiple participants. Can we have the same thing to check multiple participants and mark them as paid?

Agreed. We use a pay offline method and going to each record individually is tedious.

I also think marking them paid should update the "Amount Paid" field to the full payment amount so that the "Amount Due" field becomes zero. I believe these two actions will always coincide. (ie, if a payment is due and you mark them paid, then the payment due should go to 0).

As an addition to this, I think the following would be useful for unpaid records. If you are in the Registration Records management page and click the icon under the PAID column, in addition to the record being marked paid, the STATUS should change and the AMOUNT DUE should become 0.

I am finding for every record with an offline payment, I have to go into the individual records and change three items: STATUS, AMOUNT PAID, and PAID fields. Seems like that process can be streamlined.

streamlining processes is always good. so if we mark a registration as paid (in the records list) it should automatically change the status to active and set the amount due to $0.00. imagine an event with 1000+ registrants and say 500 pay offline, it is a significant amount of work to open and edit each registration. or maybe an option to mark multiple records and change the the status and due amount would be good too.
