I'd like to be able to have 4 or 5 different types of donations within DTDonate. We have several fund raising projects within our organization and need to be able to keep donations separate. Have a template manager and some plugins to create unique forms for each donation type would be ideal.

Just use custom fields. You can make checkboxes, dropdown selections, etc where users can choose the donation type they want to use... mark the item(s) they are donating towards. We do not currently have any plan on building out multiple donation as we do not see this as necessary since custom fields are there. You can still separate the donations as the emails you receive and the CSV export both include the custom field data, which would show what the donations are for.

I too have multiple fundraisers each with it\'s own seperate PayPal account. Is it possible to use the custom field to route a donation to a specific account based on the donation type?

No, all you can do with custom fields is collect data. There is not a way to add that type of code to a field that is not hard-coded in. We\'ll work on some type of solution for this for a future release.
