A field place to specify your secure https server giving the ability for the site to enter https to take the donation and then going back to http after the transaction. Internet Explorer complains about displaying unsecured elements like flash movies and referring site text links while in https and could cause visitors to leave. The current way leaves the site in secure mode after the transaction, so the visitor will be surfing the site in https mode for the rest of their visit.

Hello. This is not a DT Donate issue but a Joomla issue that has to be worked around with any component using SSL. We have implemented a coded solution in DT Billing for this, but not DT Donate yet. A future release will include this. For now, see this forum post for a solution:
