TOPIC: Split Donations Between Funds

We would like to be able to split donations between funds. For example, in a church setting, a donation may be split between general, missions and building funds. Custom fields could be used for these and then the extension would need to calculate the total donation amount. This is very important for church usage, as we have more and more churches wanting to do online donations.

Our developer has modified DT Donate 2.2.3a in the file /components/com_dtdonate/dtdonate.php to enable specific fund fields to be summed and the total amount submitted for payment. The custom field name must have the suffix '_fund' or '_Fund' in order to be added to the total donation.

We request that DTH incorporate the code into a new version of DT Donate in the near future. It would probably be better to indicate which fields be summed by an administrative check box, rather than by field name, in the final version.
