So you have not upgraded or changed anything in DT Register? If not, then obviously DT Register is not just going to decide to stop working
The only direction that makes sense to look is the Authorize.net account itself. Possible that a setting has been changed... probably a security setting related to address verification or something. Call them if you need to, but that is the only thing that is logical.
Check your server time. If you're not syncing your server's time with an NTP server, it can get out of sync with the authorize.net servers and authentication with authorize.net will fail.
