To access your event registration from the events calendar or latest events module, you need to upload our modified version of the file "events.html.php". MODIFIED: We no longer supply this hacked file here. It is included in various formats in the download zip file you get with DT Register. A readme file is also included with instructions. What this hack does is add a "Click Here to Register" link inside the event details of any event that has been setup in DT Register.

We have updated the patched JEvents file to correct two issues: 1) the "Click to Register" link previously was showing on all events, but the updated file now addresses that issue. The link will only be added to events that have been setup for registration in DT Register. 2) the downloadable ZIP file now includes two versions of the events.html.php file. One version for using a secure link, and one without a secure link. Take the one you need and rename it as "events.html.php" and load it into /components/com_events/. Use the link at the beginning of this thread to download the most recent ZIP file. Also please note that the modified JEvents file is from JEvents version 1.4.1. Thanks to cmtrig for his help with this!

As of Version 2.0 of DT Register, this hack is no longer required. If you still want the "Click to Register" links in your JEvents calendar listings, then you still need it. However, 2.0 offers a new method of getting to your registration forms. You create a Link-URL menu item in Joomla pointing to this url: http://www.YourDomain.com/index.php?opt ... listevents (for SSL, use "https") This will give a list of all events that are setup for registration with links to their forms.

Hi dthadmin, I set up the following link-url: http://melbourne.joomladay.org.au/index ... listevents . Both test events are listed but instead of linking to their forms, they are transferring immediately to paypal with no specific event information. I chose paypal as the only processor and disabled group registrations. Must have overseen a setting?! Thanks, Matthias

Matthias, Hello. That is how paypal registrations USED to work. Download the new release 2.1.0 and this has been greatly improved. Thanks!

This hacked file that you can download here has now been updated with a small change needed for version 2.1.0 and later. These hacked files are now included when you download the component, but we will leave them here as well. If you are using this hack with a previous version of DT Register, you must update the file or the "Click Here to Register" links will no longer work.
