TOPIC: Group registration required fields

I only want to address and contact info for the paying member of the group the rest of the tickets don\'t need to have the address and such filled out. Can I require this information ONLY for one person in the group? I use Authorize.net so I need the address info for 1 person. I\'ve gotten lots of feedback that the people don\'t want to have to fill out all that information if they have 10-20 people in their group.

Yes, in the settings area you can configure what fields you want to collect data on for members of a group registration and what fields are required or not. Thanks.

Yes I know I can set what is required and how to do that. However if a group of 10 registers I don\'t want the address to be required of all 10 people just the one who\'s credit card is being billed. If I set those fields as not required then it doesn\'t require them of ANY of the participants. It is either all or none, can it be 1?

The group member options are set and apply to all members. What you are not realizing is that after you input all the group member info, there is the billing info page which includes all of the required payment fields, such as address, etc. So you enter 10 as the group number, then you\'ll enter 10 items of member details. THEN you\'ll enter the payment info, which may be the name of one of the members. The payment page is intended to not be counted as a member of the group as someone from an organization can be registering and paying for other members of the organization... the one doing the online transaction may not be going but has to use their name if it is on the credit card. Make sense?

Anyway... end of story is that DT Register already works as you need it to.
