TOPIC: [SOLVED] Removing "$" symbol

The module works fine now and links into paypal. The only problem I have is trying to replace the $ symbol with the £ symbol. As the site is based in the UK, I need to remove the dollar sign.

It displays Your total Registration cost: $30.00 on screen before you submit to paypal. I have already changed the Default Currency (PayPal) to Pound Sterling.

Hey Jay. Go through the language file (english.dtregister.php) and locate the $ symbols and change them there. The couple occurences in that file should address what you need changed. Thanks.

I\'ve finally managed to replace the \"$\" symbol to \"£\" but its still showing the $ symbol.

This is a follow up to my query. I have now found that the \"$\" is only displayed when you register as an Individual and after the registration form.

Did you have any joy changing the $ to a £ as I have the exact same problem.

I made the ammendments in the english file and can still see the $ on the Registration page. Although the payment goes through as £ stirling, it is confusing for customers.

Can DT help please.
