TOPIC: Error when trying to pay using eWay plugin

Hi Nathan,
I'm trying to update my site to the latest version of Joomla, but my test site transaction is failing when I submit a payment to eWay.
I'm using DT Register 3.2.8 and the eWay 1.4 plugin, using Transparent Redirect.
My test site is running Joomla! 3.8.8, on PHP 7.0.29. The same problem existed on the test site for J!3.8.7, but the eWay plugin is working in the production site running J!3.8.6.

When I submit the payment I am seeing the following error message:

0 Error
Call to undefined method stdClass::getErrors()

Any ideas?

Same problem - Joomla 3.8.8 - DTREgister 3.3.1 eWay plugin 1.4. On both test and ive sites. Error reporting shows:

Event Registration: Payment

Fatal error: Call to undefined method stdClass::getErrors() in C:\.....\plugins\dtregister\eway\gateway\eway\redirect.php on line 135

Help..

I have updated DT Register again, to the new version, but there is still the same problem when processing eWay payments.
I opened a ticket and provided Super Admin credentials on 26 April (ticket TECH-17F3RFKCH4), but I've still not heard anything.
I'm copping a lot of flack from my client over this, and it is seriously eroding all the work I've put in to convincing them that they really should keep updating Joomla! and their extensions to stay on top of security issues.

We're sorry for any inconvenience it may cause.

Any progress on this? We are overdue on going live and basically looking at other options, which is disappointing as we have been using DTRegister and Eway since at least 2011. Using Eway is not an option, so we would looking for a refund and moving on if not fixed soon. Please let me know what happening.
