TOPIC: Method to have an event not listed on Registration page but active

Is there any way to create a registration event but not have it shown on the registration page (menu item page with all registration events)? I have need to have a registration event and provide a link to specific people to use it and / or to have it located on a page/menu item different and separate from the all registration events AND it needs to not show up in the registration events module that lists events open for registration.

If this is not possible, what options are available? And, if not possible now, could this feature be added?

The best way to do this would be using categories. Make a category for your "hidden" events and create a DT Register category menu item for that one category and put it in a hidden menu. Just take the URL to send to people.

Then, instead of using a default list of events menu item, use a category option also but select all of the categories EXCEPT for your hidden category. Do the same in your upcoming events module... select the categories to include.

That should do the trick!
