TOPIC: [SOLVED] String could not be parsed as XML

Hello Nathan,

I have just installed DTReg 3.2.4 on a clean j3.8.1 site on my local dev server and received the error under Admin Components/DT Register:

0 String could not be parsed as XML
Return to Control Panel

This is the exact issue described here: #26880

I have disabled all dtr plugins and the error remains.

I can navigate to all sub-menu items, but choosing the main menu item returns the error.

Has there been a solution to this?

This is nothing of real concern. Something in your setup is not allowing our RSS news feed to load, which shows on the control panel page. You are not missing any functionality, just a main page to navigate from is all. We've seen this very rarely. We can't support your local environment, but if you have this on a live site, we could check it out further through a ticket with admin access provided. Thanks.

I just took the site live today, and have not seen this error message. The nav-links are all there on the control panel, so you're right; something different on the local system.

I am getting this same error when accessing the component from a mobile iphone, but not from my MBPro.
